Job Description

The Business Development Executive will be a key driver of growth for Velozgida, responsible for identifying new market opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and strategically securing new business to achieve revenue targets. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, proactive lead generation, negotiation expertise, and exceptional communication skills to expand Velozgida's footprint and enhance its market position.

Roles & Responsibilities
A. Strategy & Market Growth
Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify new potential markets, business opportunities, and target customer segments relevant to Velozgida's products/services.

Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform strategic business decisions.

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute effective business development and sales strategies to penetrate new markets and drive sustainable growth.

B. Lead Generation & Relationship Building
Lead Generation: Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business leads through various channels including cold outreach, networking, industry events, referrals, and digital platforms.

Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting, and trusting relationships with prospective clients, key decision-makers, and strategic partners.

Networking: Represent Velozgida at industry events, conferences, and meetings to expand the professional network and create new sales opportunities.

C. Sales & Deal Closure
Client Needs Assessment: Engage with prospects to understand their business challenges and needs, and effectively communicate Velozgida's value proposition and customized solutions.

Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, tailored proposals, and contracts to potential clients.

Negotiation & Closure: Lead the negotiation process and close agreements, ensuring favorable terms for Velozgida to maximize revenue.

D. Internal Collaboration & Reporting
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team on campaigns and promotional activities, and collaborate with Product/Service teams to relay client feedback for future enhancements.

Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to meticulously track leads, manage the sales pipeline, and maintain accurate records of all activities and client communication.

Reporting: Monitor, track, and report on sales performance metrics (KPIs), pipeline status, and progress towards monthly/quarterly targets to senior management.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, results-driven individual, whether a seasoned professional or a high-potential fresher or undergraduate with exceptional communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but raw talent in building rapport and articulating value is key.
