What we build
Most apps we scope fall into a few patterns. Customer apps let people book, order, pay or track something. Staff and field apps replace paper forms, WhatsApp groups and spreadsheets. Companion apps extend an existing website, CRM or ERP to mobile. We start from the job the app has to do, not from a feature wishlist, and we will tell you when a fast mobile website or a WhatsApp flow would serve you better than an app.
- Booking and reservation apps for hotels, houseboats, tour operators and clinics
- Ordering and loyalty apps for restaurants, cafés and retail
- Field-staff, attendance and inspection apps that work with patchy mobile data
- Customer portals and companion apps connected to your CRM or ERP
- MVPs for startups that need to validate an idea before a full build
Platforms and technology
We choose the stack for the product, its budget and who will maintain it after launch. For most business apps, a single cross-platform codebase is the practical choice. It ships to Android and iOS together and keeps maintenance affordable. When an app depends heavily on device hardware or platform-specific UI, we recommend native development.
- Cross-platform: Flutter and React Native
- Native: Kotlin for Android, Swift for iOS where it is justified
- Back end: Node.js or PHP/Laravel APIs, MySQL or PostgreSQL, cloud hosting
- Integrations: payment gateways, WhatsApp Business API, maps, push notifications, CRM/ERP APIs
- Admin dashboards so your team can manage content, users and orders without a developer
How a project runs
We use short, visible iterations so you see working software early and often.
- Discovery: goals, users, must-have features, integrations and constraints, written into a scope you sign off
- UX and UI design: clickable prototype before any code is written
- Build in sprints with a demo at the end of each one
- Testing on real Android and iOS devices, including low-end phones and slow networks
- Store submission: Google Play and Apple App Store listings, review and release
- Support and maintenance: OS updates, bug fixes and new features on an agreed plan
Why build with a Kashmir and India team
For overseas clients, the usual reasons to work with an India-based team are cost and access to engineering talent. Our difference is a small senior team you can talk to directly, working hours that overlap with UAE and UK mornings, and long experience building for tourism, hospitality and local commerce. Kashmir businesses get developers who understand seasonal demand, WhatsApp-first customers and connectivity realities in the Valley.
Engagement models
- Fixed-scope project: defined features, timeline and price agreed after discovery
- Dedicated developer or team: monthly engagement for ongoing product work
- Maintenance retainer: monitoring, updates and small enhancements after launch
What affects cost and timeline
App cost depends on the number of screens and user roles, the integrations (payments, maps, ERP), whether you need an admin panel, one platform or two, and how much design work is involved. A focused MVP is far quicker to ship than a multi-role marketplace. We give a written estimate after a free discovery call instead of a one-size price list.
