Who we are

This website is run by Velozgida Technologies (“Velozgida”, “we”), a website design and development studio based in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. We are the data controller for personal data collected through velozgida.com. Contact: info@velozgida.com.

What we collect and why

• Enquiries. When you send a project brief or free-audit request we collect your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, website, project type, country, budget, your message and your IP address. We use this to reply, prepare a quote, and prevent spam and abuse. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business.
• Job applications. When you apply for a role we collect the details in the form and the CV you upload, to assess your application.
• Website analytics. Our own analytics record pages viewed, referring site, browser/device type and IP address to understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.
• Email and messages. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we keep the conversation to handle your request.

Cookies and local storage

We set one strictly necessary session cookie when you use a form, to protect it against cross-site request forgery. Your browser’s local storage remembers your chosen currency and whether you have seen our intro animation. We do not use marketing or tracking cookies, so no consent banner is needed for them.

Third parties

We use trusted providers to run the site: our web hosting provider (which stores the site, database and emails), Google Fonts and the jsDelivr content network (which receive your IP address when they deliver fonts and scripts), and WhatsApp (Meta) if you choose to message us there. We never sell your personal data.

International transfers

We are based in India, so if you contact us from the UK, the European Economic Area, the UAE, Australia or elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in India. We protect it with access controls, encrypted (HTTPS) connections and by limiting who can see it. If you need a data processing agreement for a client project, we will sign one.

How long we keep data

• Enquiries that don’t become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Client project records: for the length of the project and as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
• Job applications: up to 12 months after the role is filled, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Analytics records: up to 24 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under UK GDPR, EU GDPR, the UAE PDPL or the Australian Privacy Act), you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. Email info@velozgida.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the UK ICO.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, forms are protected against spam and forgery, and admin areas require a password. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
